Daily Susan #95 – Play it once, Susan. For old time’s sake.

August 31st, 2011

You must remember this
A kiss is just a kiss, a sigh is just a sigh.
The fundamental things apply
As time goes by.

I would comment about how much I’ve been wanting to hear Susan play the piano. I would mention the numerous times I’ve talked about it on here. I would remind everyone that she’s an avid (and likely very talented) pianist. I would express my extreme pleasure at seeing this photo. I would postulate that perhaps Sito set something up involving piano-playing Susan. I would look forward to seeing more about this in the near future.

I would do all those things. But I won’t, because I don’t want to get anyone’s hopes up like I’ve done with mine own. Because I’m probably wrong.

Adding to clouds more clouds with my deep sighs…

August 26th, 2011

Insuh Yoon has produced some of the earliest and best shots of Susan available. That’s why I was so excited to see that he released a new shot of her. Well, not really a new one. More like a detail and enhancement of one of the photos he’s previously taken. But as you can see, this isn’t redundant. This is very, very beautiful.

*SIGH*

I really don’t have anything else to say about this other than I’ll be staring at it quite a lot for about the next few lifetimes.

*SIGH*

Oh, an you’ll definitely want to click through to the full-sized version. Depending on your screen res, this is very seriously wallpaper material.

*SIGH*

Is it cloudy in here?

Irene, leave Susan alone.

August 25th, 2011

Hurricane Irene is headed up the east coast of North America and set to bolster to a category 4. That’s sustained winds of 131 to 155 mph and a storm surge up to 18 feet. Granted, Metuchen (or wherever it is Susan’s currently living) is on the inside of a nice little protective hook, but I still don’t like it.

Susan, if you’re reading this, please take care of yourself. Get away if you can. San Diego’s nice this time of year.

Let’s all think hopeful thoughts for the entire east coast for the next couple of days, including the Carolinas and Virginia.
