Very beautiful photos from Susan’s recent shoot with Layla L’obatti and Josh Verleun of Between the Sheets Lingerie.

I didn’t really know how to write this post. I felt like waiting until more time has passed, but I don’t know how long that’s going to take. And besides, beauty is beauty, whether you’re happy or sad.

I’m in anguish over what happened at Sandy Hook. And yet what I feel is only a faint shadow of the pain of those who are personally affected.

I can’t speak for Susan directly, but I believe I can speak with and for all of our common decency and love:

This is our memorial, in that we cry for the pain and confusion and utter loss of innocence of those who fell that morning; we ache with those whom they left behind.
