Annnyway, for those of you who’ve been around since the beginning, this is a huge payoff. We’ve been waiting for this for a while. And it’s nothing short of inspiring. Susan is beautiful, she plays Affettuoso, and Sito dramatizes it wonderfully with his creative filming.

This is apparently a song by The Academy called “Down and Out.” I’m probably stupid, because I’ve never heard of them, but it doesn’t matter because nothing they’ve recorded could live up to Susan’s interpretation. The tricky part is, now that she’s played for us, I think we’re all going to want more.

Susan and Sito also posted a new photo each from the shoot they did at that skanky death-trap of a house in Mississauga. You can find them here and here. Oh, and I just found another one here.

UPDATE: I just read on Sito’s interview with MuzeMagazine that he’s working on a photo book called Phenomena that will showcase his and Susan’s work together, as well as some new material that we’ve never seen before. Sweet.

Unless somehow you missed the last post but have found yourself reading this one, you should know who I am. I’m penifest09, and I’m going to try to be posting here as often or as seldom as I see fit. You probably don’t know me at all, and if you do you don’t know much, but I suppose that’s okay because it isn’t really necessary for that. I will say, however, that I’ve been a hardcore fan of Susan Coffey for a year or so now, ever since 4chan’s /b/ board introduced me to her – who said 4chan was all bad? – and I’ve been haphazardly maintaining a downloadable archive of every picture of her that is hosted on this website’s photo gallery. In fact, I should go ahead and link to that. I’ve decided that since I have an opportunity to post it here, I might as well update the “base pack” so folks can just download that and have all of Susan’s Pictures, instead of downloading the outdated “base pack” from April and all of the following Mini-Packs.

Thanks to CrazyCrankle, we have a new shot of Susan. This is from that Diverxity thing that I mentioned a few months ago. I’ve thrown this one in the Unknown album for a couple of reasons, but the bottom line is I don’t see there being much more surfacing from this shoot.

Or maybe you don’t know him at all. But you’ll get to know him, because Pen (as I like to call him) will begin posting occasionally here on SusanCoffey.net shortly. Frankly I’m a bit burnt out on Daily Susans and Weekly Photographers, so we need someone to help fill in those gaps, and I believe Pen is just the man for the job.
